It has been many years since the last good Need for Speed. The artwork in this is gorgeous. It’s part cel shaded, part realistic, and the two styles work great together. The driving feels as solid as ever, with a great sense of speed. Also, finally having one of these games run at 60fps is awesome, and a total necessity for a racing game. Yeah, the characters talking all the time is annoying, and the dialogue is comically bad, but oh well. This game is a blast.
